Fairlawn Mansion & Museum
Built in 1890 for lumber baron Martin Pattison, this 42-room Victorian mansion faces Lake Superior and includes one entire city block as its grounds. Exterior and first floor have been restored to their original 1890's beauty. Exhibits recall the early days of Great Lakes Victorian elegance, maritime commerce and Native American lore.
